As for me and my family...we're sticking around!

A lot has been going on in our lives, especially with our friends and family! Things that I'm so proud of them for taking the chance and doing. Many of these things include buying new homes, starting new business, marriage, babies the list goes on on and to be honest this makes me so happy to be apart of it all! No joke it sometimes brings me to tears!
The best part of all this, is that Mr. Stanley, C and I are all getting the pleasure of sitting back and watching! Most people would consider this "standing still" but on the contrary people's lives are never in the idle position. We have plans...big plans, they just wont be happening for a few years. Well to be honest those of you that know Mr.S and myself know that we don't really know what planning is, so things can always change. But for now we are blissfully content.
For One!
This is our home!
We bought this almost 4 years ago, that would be when we were 21! Kind of outrageous right? Not so much since our good friends bought their first house when they were only 19 or 20, I can't remember? Anywho, can you imagine a 21 year old with a whole house to decorate, umm well I moved in and painted almost everyroom. Early this year I got really discouraged and realized that my design style has changed drastically in the past 3 years and after having C I figured that minimal is better and clean and open is what I LOVE! So small projects have been taking place in the past few months and I am starting to fall more and more in love with our home then I did when we first walked through it!
Not only is the inside perfect for my little family but this is the street we get to view it all from!
Not only do we have a beautiful street to take our walks on but our neighbors are amazing as well! I think between the 6 houses on our small block there is almost 17 kids! They are terrfic, they look after C and I when Mr.Stanley is traveling, even as going as far as when we had a major blackout after a storm Dave walked around our house to make sure everything was fine! Awww my own security team!
One of my favorite corners in my house, this room use to be barn red and very dark, not so much now!
I also love our backyard it's completely fenced in and has lots of room! So C gets to run around and I can relax knowing she isn't going to be running off!
Of course one day we will have to move when our family expands to over 4 or 5:) But right now I love coming home from our friend's homes to our small cozy home to tuck my family away from the world and remember why I love this house to begin with...It was our first home as a married couple, the home we brought our child home to from the hospital, she learned to walk, crawl, had her first holidays, and said her first words here. I have it pretty set in my mind that I want to bring all of our children home here, that way I know that when someone new moves in they will be moving into a home that they will also have the chance to create such memories in as well!
Life can be insane sometimes, it can move to fast for you to have time to even get use to the new things. But I have been blessed with some amazing people to share my crazy life with, and even happier that they choose to involve me and my family in their lives as well!
When things are bad I have to remember that life could always be worse and to stop and be thankful!
