Denver Children's Museum

So today C and I ventured out to Downtown Denver, to get a better feel for the city. What I came across was pretty impressive, from what we had seen earlier that weekend. I actually found it pretty easy to get around the city, traffic or not, there is some pretty awesome buildings. Of course I couldn't stop to look very long since I was in the middle of downtown.
Needless to say C and I stumbled upon the Children's Museum by accident and since the Mister said we should get out today, I thought what a perfect place to start. I'm sooo glad we did too.
She enjoyed the painting room the best, and being the super unprepared cool mom that I am my child was wearing a white shirt, and I didn't know there was cover ups to put over it....um oops?
Anyway, she had a blast doing some pretty fun things for a 2 year old. She got to pretend to shop in a grocery store, work in a restaurant, build something out of recycled materials, make different shaped bubbles, climb trees and play on a fire truck!
This is some smoked filled bubble machine...pretty sweet, I know!
(note: I do realize that my child's hair eventually needs to be pulled off her face)

So we had a pretty successful day on our own, and of course the hubs, being that he is like a 25 year old toddler, was a little bummed that he missed out on the Children's Museum.
Maybe next time Babe!
