Our way of ringing in the New Year!

I have to say this year was very different than the past years of celebrating New Years Eve.

This year it was more of a family celebration, with our friends recent arrival of their baby girl, and several of us deciding that the drama that occurs on New Years Eve needed a break we decided to have a last minute get together with our kids an their families.

I can't believe I forgot my camera, but needless to say the kids had a blast, and the adults had a pretty relaxing, stress free night.

So at 10:30 the hubs and I decided to pack it up say good-bye and head the 4 blocks back to our home to tuck ourselves in our bed to ring in the New Year.

What a lucky man, got New Year's kisses from his favorite girls.

This is what happens when Mr.S gets hold of the camera (very close pictures are taken).

C danced and jumped to the bands playing on one of the many countdown shows on T.V.

She slowly started to get tired and as soon as the clock struck midnight, she was carried into her room and was fast asleep.

It was a very different way for us to ring in the New Year, but it has to be one of my top 5 that I will always remember (for the good reasons).
