I know it's been more like a hiatus but it was for good reason I promise.
You see we've been sort of working on something around here:
Yes that would be the making of a baby bump, at this picture I was just around 21 weeks.
When I found out I was expecting again I was nothing short of amazed and blessed and completely terrified all at the same time.
I didn't even tell Nathan until 2 days later, and for a little stocking stuffer, I finally told him all about my little secret I had been keeping. Of course he was over the moon and we then decided we wouldn't tell anyone until after our first doctors appointment and ultrasound.
We got great results back on our ultrasound and blood work around 8 weeks and finally breathed a little easier, however I think we still waited till 10 weeks to tell our parents and closest friends.
Needless to say here we are trucking along almost 27 weeks later and as of tomorrow I will have exactly 3 months until Baby Boy arrives. This summer is going to one of our busiest and the coming fall will be our most anticipated one since Cecelia arrived.
Comically our children's due dates are only 3 days apart so it's very likely that little man's birthday could be the same as his big sisters. No biggie in our minds if that happens Nate and I have some ways to make them both feel special on their birthdays.
Baby boy on vacation with us to South Carolina.
Of course we have lots of home projects that I have been working on a little bit at a time and I'm hoping that I will get them all done before the end of the summer. We are having lots of room changes going on this summer and changing C's current room into a more appropriate little boys room.
Of course with this baby Nate and I are doing things a little differently, we are taking a more minimalistic route then with C, mostly because we know exactly what we need and what was more a waste of money and space for us.
However we took another trip down to South Carolina this May and as we expected had a fabulous time.
Daddy and baby boy
My loves, there is no denying they are father and daughter.
We really enjoyed are vacation but kept saying how excited we are to bring our new addition to one of our favorite places next year.
And of course how can I forget about another special delivery that gave Nate and I new titles as well.
Our little niece arrived in early March making us Uncle Nate and Aunt Tory.
Isn't she perfection? With a full head of hair!
I know that this post is full of randomness but I needed to jump back in and catch up with life. Now that summer has officially settled here in our small town I'm fully looking forward to spending lots of time outside with C, grilling with friends, preparing for baby boy and appreciating how truly blessed I am. Of course I'm reminded every time I see our little girl looking so peaceful

So happy for your little family! Beautiful pictures tory!
