AUGUST!

So my last post was such a downer, so to make up for it here is a card a saw at Target the other while shopping for the hundred birthdays that are taking place in the grand month of August.
It reminded me of one of my dearest friends, Emina, we always make fun of how after pregnancy you just don't have the greatest control of some normal body functions.
So of course what do I do? Text it to her.
This is the front of the card.
And the inside.
It was just to funny and I got a great laugh out of it while in the card aisle.

Moving on from the inappropriate card.
So some things that we have been up to.
Digging up our front yard...again.
Problem is almost fixed.
However, C loved riding in the "digger" with her Daddy
and actually cried when he took it back to work with him.

We also got Cecelia's birthday invitations sent out last week and it was
nice to get things rolling on that.

The end of July was a very eventful one as well.
Daddy went fishing and camping this weekend so C and I had a breakfast date
which of course involved a sprinkled long john from Dahls...yum!

Snuggling with my baby niece while my sister and mom worked on painting baby boy's
nursery.
Very soon will it almost be done, I mean it has to be considering we have about 4 1/2 weeks left till D-Day.

And of course some fun in the backseat with Miss. C herself. This is how she enjoys jamming out to music on our way into town. How can you not love how goofy she truly is?

And of course C thought that baby boy needed to talk to Daddy on the phone.
She cracks me up the way she thinks. It was a priceless moment and I wish I would have had my actual camera close by.

So now that it's officially August we have a jammed packed month and all of our weekends pretty much full to the brim!
Just this week alone I have finals, 3 different birthday dinners, as well as some other projects to get finished.
However, there is a relaxing boating trip on Sunday with our friends that should be a good time if the weather holds out.
As for the rest of the 3 weeks of August we have C's birthday part, State Fair family day, finish up projects, more birthday parties, C starts preschool, I start another semester of school and of course we have that small thing of having a baby coming soon!
Ahh the joys of family and life!
