Life has been so crazy and getting back to normal may never be possible until Nate stops traveling for work. But I really shouldnt complain given the fact that he in fact does have a job that does allow us to have insurance. Which came in handy two weeks ago when I took Arloboy into the doctors to end up in Blank Childrens hospital for pertusses. I knew well enough to get him to the doctors when I heard his cough and lucky for us we have an amazing pediatrician who listens to mothers intuitions.
Arloboy was hooked up to monitors to make are sure that he was getting enough oxygen and an i.v to keep him hydrated. It was a pretty intense time but we were lucky and only ended up there for 3 days.
Our boy is home and safe and recovering but it might not have ended up that way, and we know that many children there dont always end up like we did.
So today on this day of thanks I will never take for granted my children's good health. The night we were all able to be home again under the same roof was like heaven. No matter what time Cece decided it was time to wake up or the blowout Arloboy gifted us that morning, it all brought smiles to my face.
I hope you all understand my abscence and that you enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday.
