Busy life...

I apologize in advance for the very bad quality of the following pictures. It seems like my phone is the easiest way to capture moments.
So here it goes...
Christmas was good except for our entire family got hit with a nasty bug, but C had a blast and thinks Santa should come at least every night.
We celebrated the New Years with good food, lots of drinks and great friends.
Arloboy had his 4 month check-up and all seems pretty well. He is of course long and lean weighing in at a whopping 12.8lbs and 24 1/4 inches long. He grew almost 3in in 2 months but only grew 2lbs in the same time so he will be towering over me within in a year :).
There is some problems that they ran across as far as his left eye goes. We have been referred to a pediatric optometrist. I mentioned it a long time ago after he was born that his left eye was severely crossed but slowly corrected itself. However, recently we have noticed it going cross again and for no particular reason (such as looking at a close object) so our pediatrician who we love, has referred us along and Arlo will most likely have to wear a patch for a while to strengthen his left eye, but we are lucky that it isn't severe.
There is another problem that we are looking into which requires a urologist but until we speak more in depth with that doctor I wont go into to much detail about it.

January we have been lucky enough to have amazing weather but this week we finally got to the regular chilly weather and snow that we are use to in Iowa. So footy pajamas and cuddling have been in the agenda for early mornings.

Arlo and this monkey are best friends, he falls asleep instantly when you give it to him, and he holds it with a death grip.

The kids got to get some time to play outside this past weekend and as Henry and C get bigger their ability to play with one another without the other bursting into tears has gotten so much better and is so refreshing to see how they have grown up together and are always so excited to see one another, even if tears are involved :) We decided to take the older kiddos to the Rodeo this weekend and I'm sure they will be a handful but will totally enjoy it!
In a few years I'm sure this will be Savannah and Arlo.

Just today I was laying in bed and I knew C would be up soon, but over the monitor I hear her crawling into Arlo's bed and quietly start talking to him. She was telling him all about her new books and that she is his big sister. It was darling and I popped in there and she had her and Arlo covered up and when I asked what she was up to she in the matter of fact tone of voice said "He was cold Mama, so I came to snuggle." My eyes stung from the tears that were pushing through but all I could do was laugh thinking of the day when C crawling into Arlo's bed would result in her getting tossed on the floor, hopefully not for a few more years.
