1/2 a year gone by...

Look who is happy to be out of the hospital.
Of course right before a big milestone Arloboy got sick and was admitted into Blank Children's Hospital (we should really have our own room there by now) but luckily he healed up pretty quickly and just before his 6 month birthday!
We haven't been getting as many big smiles from our guy like the one above lately since he still is not back to his normal happy self, but I'm hoping soon we will see those gummy smiles more often.
Arlo is now 14.5lbs and I'm not sure how many inches long he is but pretty long.
He still has no teeth but his gums are swelling and the doctor said soon they should be popping soon. Nate and I are wondering if he will get his out of order like his big sister and be a little vampire.
He now sits on his own, says "dadadadada" and is still devouring every baby food we have thrown at him. We have even mushed up blackberries and blueberries into his purees and he eats them right up.

He is still working on getting some hair in so the color is still up in the air for right now.
We have been to a few specialist about some of his problems regarding his eye and his urology issue and so far we have gotten some pretty great feedback and most likely he will only need one little surgery around 9 months to correct a little problem and his eyes are tracking and doing great and as you can tell from the above picture as beautiful as ever.
Arlo has started to sleep on his side while cuddling with his stuffed monkey blanket and it's the cutest thing ever. He also is a huge fan of his glowworm.
The darn boy still wont roll over from back to front but I have a feeling he will skip right over that and move on to crawling since he has been scooting himself forward with his knees and feet lately.
The last 6 months have flown by and with a few bumps in the road but time and time again Arlo has proven to come through with flying colors and a smile on his face.
His favorite person these days seem to be his sister, she is the only one who has been able to get him to chuckle and laugh out loud.
He definitely makes each of our days better with his babbling and squeaks and of course those dimples.
