Bachelorette Festivities

It has been way to long since I stayed up till 3 in the morning, but last night was an exception. We had way to much fun and I’m pretty sure everyone had a great time celebrating Ellen’s last girls night out as an unmarried lady.

I haven’t had a bachelorette party in what seems like forever and I already have 3 planned for this summer! Lucky for Nate and I his friend who happens to be Ellen’s groom also had his bachelor party last night so the kids fantastic grandparents took them over night, so sleeping in was just as much of a treat as the going out part.

Back to the festivities, we enjoyed some line dancing lessons as well as a little bit of ballroom lessons to start off with and then moved onto dinner and drinks at Rock Bottom, followed by some bar hopping on the party bus and finished off with a funny car ride home with some of my favorite ladies.

To top the night off of drinking and dancing this Mama felt a little to gross to fall into bed so yes at 3:00am I took a lovely hot shower, washed my face and brushed my teeth and crawled into bed next to my husband who had been sleeping (passed out) since 12:30am. I never thought in a million years he would have beat me home.

Did I mention that we got to sleep in till 10:00! That is simply unheard of in our home, even when they do stay the night at the grandparents’ house I still usually am up at 8 trying to catch up around our home, but not this morning this morning Nate was forcing me to get out of bed, of course convincing me to go pick up the kiddos didn’t take much, we missed them!

Bathroom picture's can be tasteful...sometimes.

before heading out, I'm really loving color on the lips these days.

There would proabably be so many more pictures if my phone hadn't died right after dinner, but I'm sure I will acquire a few before the weeks out from the other ladies.
So now I should get back to studying for my math final that is tomorrow morning, while the kids are still napping.
Only one more week of school before a much needed two week break!
Enjoy your Sunday.
