Fathers Day

Being a father means many different things to different Dads. In our house it means the killer of the bugs and spiders. The giver of horsey rides. The maker of popcorn with M&Ms and watcher of princess movies. The one who will camp out in the family room in sleeping bags under blanket tents. The one who does the best under dogs in the swing and the teacher of scaling flat surfaces.

Nate is so many things to our kids, he makes an effort everyday to let them know he is available to them in any way he can be. He gives them confidence when they are learning new things but always let's them know to ask for help if they're struggling. He has patience and kind words for them when they are frustrated. He gives them each the same amount of affection and attention.

Having a daughter for Nate is something he considers a gift and he treasures their relationship. Having our boy, especially one who is the spitting image of him and caring his name, is beyond special.

Being a parent takes a lot of work and unconditional love everyday. Nate gives that to his kids, everyday.

So on this Fathers Day and everyday we celebrate Nathan and all that he does for us.

We love you.
