1st Grade

Cecelia Jeneveve Stanley age: 5 grade: 1st August 18th 2014

Today she started first grade. She will learn new things and become friends with different kids and maintain friendships with her old ones. She has a new teacher and a new classroom. She will also have a new routine, as I get to pick her up and drop her off at school everyday. She has anxiety when it comes to change. I give it a good week before her teacher realises she is not quiet and observant. I suppose they will figure it out. She will be 6 in a few short weeks and begin her 4th year of dance, 2nd season of soccer and her 1st year of catichisim. She has mint colored eyes and her hair is getting darker every year. She prefers fruit over any other food and she gets most excited when she gets her own pack of gum. She has a small obsession with hand sanitizer but not because she is scared of germs. She is wild and sassy. She also can be very sweet and protective. She's our girl, our sweet Cecelia. Happy 1st Day of 1st Grade Cece!

She of course can be a bit controlling in the photo taking department! Looks similar to last years back to school pictures.

Poor Cece, one day she will not be able to control his every movement. I'm hoping eventually he will get bigger than her.
