So there are a few reason I love our town and especially our home.
One of the biggest reason is our neighbors, between our 6 homes on our block we have about 18 children.
The adults usually keep an eye on their children as well as any others that wander into their yard. My child would be the one who all of a sudden appears in your yard, especially in our neighbors behind us. Now for our neighbors to the north of us, have lived in their home since Dean was born crazy I know, but his wife keeps a crazy beautiful and full yard of flowers and plants.
Now a great example why we love our neighbors is this!

We had to put a few feet of new sidewalk in, and Dean was super excited to put C's footprints in it, however we had plans to be in Des Moines. We were a little bummed when we pulled up and noticed that it was already poured and set, looking closer we realized that they didn't forget about C, but added her name (both of them :), and the year! How great was that!
I of coursed added the heart when we got home, and our initials as well.
How could I resist permanently etching our names in front of our first home, the home we brought C home from the hospital, where we have been making so many memories. Well I didn't really care that it was public property and neither did our sweet neighbors. So when you ride, walk or run past our home you will know!
C really didn't get it but I know one day she will love that it's there!
As for tonight, the small one and I are hanging out at home, the next thing you know rain is coming down like cats and dogs.
Which made this child a bit nutty!
She's a big fan of water, so bringing her in was not fun. However, she settled for hanging on the front porch instead.
A few takes of the storm.
Our neighbors yard, I was writing about above.
and of course a little reminder that the monkey man I married needs to climb his way up to our roof and clean our gutters out!
